Barbara Gowan,RN,BSN,is a reunited adoptee,who currently works as a school nurse at New Leadership Charter School,a camp nurse at Camp Atwater,and a nursing instructor in the LPN program at Holyoke Community College. She is an active member of St. John's Congregational Church and teaches in their children's church program. She participates in adoption panels and forums and has written for Adoption Week e-magazine. Those writing theses,articles,and books about diversity and adoption have sought her story and perspective. She lives with her four children in Springfield, Massachusetts. |
